God will make a way!

How many of you know that we serve a God who will make a way. In these uncertain times we find ourselves in, it’s important to think back of all the times the Lord has made a way for us to strengthen our faith and encourage us as the future seems so uncertain. Whether we can see His hand in it or not, God is always in the background working things out for our good and His glory (Romans 8:28)

When the Israelites wandered through the desert for 40 years they never went without food. Their clothes and shoes did not wear out. God gave them water from the rock when they were thirsty and manna from heaven when they were hungry. When they needed to cross the Red Sea, He opened it up for them. When they tried to take Jericho down, God made the walls fall down with their shouts of praise. There is a lesson in this for us: we are to praise God THROUGH the storm. The enemy cannot stand the sound of our worship – when we worship he will flee. Look up and worship God through the trials and storms and tests of life. When things look at their darkest, choose to worship Him. Worship takes your eyes off the problem and onto the Problem Solver. Put on worship music, just close your eyes and focus on Him.

When you need a breakthrough, spend time in the word. Search out the promises that match your need and pray it back to God. Remind God of His promises to you. If He has spoken a prophetic word over your life through a prophet or prophetic person, remind Him of it and contend for the passing of the promise. God will make a way.

It is important to keep a good attitude when we are in God’s waiting room, waiting for His promises to come to pass. When you are feeling down – LOOK UP – when you don’t know how you’ll face another day – LOOK UP. When darkness comes to invade your soul and steal your joy – LOOK UP. God will make a way.

God will always send encouragement for you when you need it most. It could be a text from a friend, something from your daily devotional, even words from a stranger – God will make a way. A song on the radio could minister to your spirit or perhaps the Lord will remind you of a worship song you sang in Sunday school. When the road seems bleak and you have no hope, God will make a way.

Whether we are trusting Him for healing, finances, our marriage, our business, clarity on our calling or for our children, He will make a way. There is a cost involved to our prayers being answered and that is our obedience. We get justified at salvation – made right with God, but we get sanctified over time. We need to work out our salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12

We need to delight ourselves in the Lord and He will give us the desires of our hearts. Psalm 37:4. Even the desires of our hearts He places there. We have to learn to trust in Him with all our hearts and to lean not on our own understanding, acknowledge Him in all our ways and He will make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5&6

His answers don’t always come in the way or in the time we expect them to, but they do come. There is a time and season for everything under the sun. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8. We can’t live in fear and faith at the same time. We are either operating in a spirit of fear or a spirit of faith. Choose faith. The confessions of our mouths make a big difference when we find ourselves in testing times. Our words have power. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. Proverbs 18:21

Our thought life also affects our destiny. The word of God says, that as a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. It’s important that the meditations of our heart are acceptable in the Lord’s sight. God’s love is not conditional.

So if you’re feeling low today and wandering how you’re going to make it through, just remember God will make a way.
