The tale of a teddy bear

As I was praying for a word for today I was reminded in a vision of the picture of a little girl standing in front of Jesus holding her tired, worn out, old teddy bear in her hands. Jesus wanted to give her something better. Behind His back was a beautiful, brand new teddy bear. Because the little girl could not see what was behind Jesus back, she was not willing to let go and trust Him.

This is a good reminder of how we are sometimes. The Father says today, let go of your broken dreams. Let go of the way you perceive things to be. Put your faith and trust in Me and see if I will not pour out a blessing on you so huge that you cannot contain it. For the dreams I have for you are bigger than the dreams you have for yourself. What I have in mind for you will literally blow your mind! For I am able to do exceedingly,abundantly, above all you can think of or imagine, according to My power that is at work in you.

Relax, take it easy says the lord. You do not have to run to and fro trying to figure out how to do everything yourself. I have a good plan in place for you. I will do more for you than you can do for yourself. I will surprise you with My goodness says the Lord. Vast are the sum of good thoughts I think towards you. Do not despise the day of small beginnings as some are in the habit of doing. Let go and let God. Give Me the reigns in your life. Allow Me to direct your steps. Let Me show you the way. Trust, rely and lean on Me says the Lord.
